Hi, my name is Mally! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Intelligent, independent, stubborn and very active
-Can Live with Kids: Yes, 14 and older.
-Can Live with Cats: No, Mally reportedly fought with cats in his previous home and injured a chicken so he would do best in a home without any small animals.
-Can Live with Dogs: No, Mally is under socialized and will escalate interactions with other dogs into fights.
-Can do Apartment Living: No. Mally is too high energy for an apartment and will need a house with a FENCED YARD. This is required due to the fact that Mally will not be able to go to a dog park and will need lots of space to get plenty of exercise.
-Potty Trained: Appears to be
-Bite History: None
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, one private lesson required.
-Energy Level: HIGH!!!
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay

Additional Information: Mally was surrendered over to WHS when her owners had a change in lifestyle that prevented them from providing proper care for her. Mally is a very smart gal who can get anxious very easily - these traits will require a lot of mental and physical stimulation to keep Mally happy and healthy. Her new home will need to be very active, as being a working dog she has endless energy to burn. She would benefit from crate training and having someone home majority of the day, when left to her own devices she will get bored and may become destructive. Mally's new home will need to have dog experience as huskies do not make for good first dogs. Mally has a history of seizures, however she has not had an episode since May 2021. If Mally sounds like a good fit for your home and you meet all the requirements, please submit an application to the front desk for review.
