MALACHI Cocker Spaniel Hermiston, OR

-Malachi is an American Cocker Spaniel - 7 or 8 years old - 25 lbs
-Both house & crate-trained.
-Being rehomed due to a medical concern in the family,
and not being able to provide the attention he deserves.

This boy loves to be outside! Would love to have 1-2 walks daily, and also have a good sized yard to explore. Very smart dog who would do great with agility and scent games. Malachi loves his people... likes to hang with kids on the couch or be near you while you are working.

Malachi is both Dog-friendly and Kid-friendly. Cat status is unknown, however, he does love to chase ducks (and lucky for them, he does not swim well).

Mr Malachi is a pretty easy going boy. He does very well at the groomer, but he does not appreciate his tail being pulled!

We would love to see Malachi with a family who can spend a lot of time with him, and preferably in an environment where he is familiar with a regular circle of friends. He is a bit timid of people outside his family, so someone who has large or frequent gatherings with new and different people all the time may cause some discomfort or anxiety. Ideally we want him in a forever home where he feels safe, secured, loved and a part of the family.... not to mention the outdoor enrichment he loves so much.
