Meet Major

Then I met you where they sing the blues Downtown a few months ago And you taught me it's still good to believe in love And I love you so I'm makin' some major moves Oh, city girl, to get to you I'm makin' some major moves Oh, darlin', major moves just for you.- from  'Major Moves'  by Hank Williams Jr.
Major is a 3-month-old Lab mix currently weighing 23 lbs and he will be likely be a large boy when full grown. Major is already crate trained, working on house training, leash training, and a few basic commands. He is a lively tyke who loves to play tug and wrestle. He is a very good traveler and will lean on your shoulder as the miles go by. He also loves playing and swimming in the water. Major is an energetic pup who would love an active family to have fun and go on adventures with. He's also an affectionate boy who loves to snuggle up with his people.  He is great with the other dogs and cats in his foster home. He loves his people big and small. Major is already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, current on prevents, and microchipped. This adorable southern pup is looking to make some major moves on the hearts of his forever family. It's good to believe in love and a whole lot of love is waiting to be shared by Major.

PUPPIES AND YOUNG DOGS GROW into the expectations of their families through love, care and consistent training. This, more than anything, defines their evolving behaviors. Puppies cannot be left unattended for more than 3 to 4 hours a day. Young pups can only go to homes with small children where the family is "puppy savvy" and has boundaries for both the puppy and the child.
PLEASE REMEMBER: The specific breed of any dog abandoned to a shelter or rescue is only the best informed determination of rescue in agreement with our veterinarians.
