Meet Major
Major is a handsome boy that closely resembles a Belgian Tervuren. Major is fit, athletic, smart, loving to ALL people, young and old, has a commanding bark when someone is at the door, so he's a good watch dog. As soon as they come in, he loves them to pieces. He sits, shakes hands and knows not to jump up on furniture. He would do best in a home with older children and no other pets. He is in a foster home and not at the shelter. Major requires at least a 4 foot fence.
Major is around 5 -6 years old. His current weight is around 80 pounds.
The minimum donation for Major is $400.00. This includes all of his vetting. If you are interested in Major, please fill out an online application through our website.
We are currently only open by appointment only. Due to the recent pandemic, we are looking at the safety of our volunteers that are there to take care of the dogs. Only serious inquiries will be considered.
Then meet him at the shelter during adoption hours on Saturdays and Sundays 10 - 2pm. All members of the household need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, a home visit will be done prior to adoption.
