Meet Maisie
Maisie was found completely emaciated with multiple wounds consistent with being hit by a car, as well as a severe eye injury. After being assessed by our vet, it was determined her eye had an ulcer that ruptured so the eye needed to be removed.
Maisie has been such a brave girl! She is doing great in foster as she works on gaining weight and learning that the world is not a scary place. Her loss of an eye has not slowed her down at all, she loves to play with toys, run around the yard, romp with other dogs & chew on bones. Maisie is crate trained and knows basic commands: sit, crate, stay, leave it, look at me.
