Maisie is a 2.5 year old mutt! After coming into rescue at a young age, Maisie spent a lot of time in training, working on her confidence and socialization. The world was big and scary but she tackled her fears one step at a time! Now that she has blossomed into a confident girl, she's on the search for her forever home!

Maisie can be a bit shy when meeting new people however, does great meeting new friends when rewarded with treats! She is very food and toy motivated and works hard to please her people. Maisie does best with boundaries so she can know what to expect from her foster family and avoid any sort of guessing games. She is working on her obedience training and her future family should be committed to expanding her list of known tricks! She loves to learn and gains more confidence with every new command. She does fantastic in her crate and is potty trained. She enjoys going for walks and playing in the backyard. Maisie LOVES toys and will pull every toy out of the toy bin before selecting the perfect toy to play with. She likes lounging on the couch with her foster family and playing fetch with her toys, although she's still working on bringing them back! Maisie prefers to eat in her crate, but comes right back out after she's finished to continue playing. While Maisie is a bit nervous in the car, she's getting more and more comfortable with each ride. Small children's loud noises and quick movements can be quite intimidating, so Maisie is looking for a home with older children who can be respectful of her space during her acclimation period. She would love a home where she can be your one and only pet.
