OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Foster insight/backstory:
Maia Grace is a rescue. Her Mama was abandoned pregnant and for the first 8 weeks of her life she lived out in the bush with her Mama and 2 sisters. Unfortunately Mama died but we were able to save the three girls. She has always been very sociable, is very affectionate, loves meeting people and loves to run. She would be a great hiking/running partner. She knows sit, crate, heel and come, but her hearing is selective, she "comes" if she feels like it and she has the Husky stubborness and independence. Of the three girls, she is the alpha. She sleeps and eats in her crate. She is not a picky eater but I regulate her food to maintain her weight. She lives with a pack of 13 other resident and foster dogs. She does well with dogs her own size or bigger, but plays a little too hard for puppies and small dogs.
