Magoo -Resident Angel (Permanent Sanctuary Foster) Pekingese Quentin, PA

**Update** (11/27/24) Mr. Magoo has been living in his permanent foster home for 10 years now. He is a bit quirky and can be bitey, but he LOVES his foster dad and is doing so well. Mr. Magoo is loved. (5/10/15) Due to some issues that we are having with Mr.Magoo, he will be staying in our rescue as a Resident Angel. He has become very attahed to his foster dad, and he has a good life now. (1/17/15) Although Mr. Magoo has done well with his current foster family, he needed time to settle in and feel safe and secure before his true sweetness was shown. Initially he is very fearful and doesn't want to be handled. Due to this behavior and his blindness, we will only place Mr. Magoo into a home with a fenced yard. We feel that his initial fear is due to his blindness and not being able to assess his environment. As mentioned, he is a sweetheart after he feels safe and secure. (12/11/14) Magoo arrived to PA almost 2 weeks ago, and he is doing so well in his foster home. Due to his blindness, he will just need a few days to settle in, and then he is just so loving and full of personality. We would love for Magoo to have a new family for the holidays! (10/8/14) Little man, Magoo, has had a rough life. He arrived at a shelter as a stray. Magoo is missing one eye, and appears to be mostly blind in his other eye. Our experience has been that blind dogs can acclimate to their surroundings rather easily. He weighs about 15 lbs. and is full of personality once he gets used to his surroundings. It will just take someone who is patient and who understands special needs pets to work with him. Magoo is neutered and up-to-date on shots.
