Magnus and Bubba Shepherd Mix Woodinville, WA

Magnus and Bubba are a bonded pair of 2-year old Shepherd mixes on the search for their new home – together! They are truly two peas in a pod! Magnus is the more reserved and cautious of the two. He hangs back and waits for Bubba to take the lead. Bubba is also shy with new people, so transitions will need to happen slowly. But once these two are comfortable, they are high energy, playful, silly and cuddly. Stuffed squeaky toys are their favorites and they are learning to enjoy walking on leash and exploring the outdoors. Before arriving at the shelter, Magnus and Bubba were kept outside only, receiving little socialization, so they are easily overwhelmed in new situations and with new people. They’ll need a very experienced adopter to help them build their confidence with positive reinforcement and experiences. Their adopter will need to be patient as they adjust to life indoors, in a new space with new people. They’ll need a quiet, predictable home with older teens (16+) and adults. Magnus and Bubba do well with other dogs after an appropriate intro. We don’t know if they’ve ever met cats, so introductions to resident cats will need to be done very slowly.
