For nearly three years, Magnum has been patiently waiting in the shelter, dreaming of the day he’ll finally find a home of his own. This 4 year old cattle dog tripod has been through so much, yet his spirit remains as strong as ever.

Despite losing his front leg to an old injury, Magnum has never let that slow him down. But after 900 days in a shelter, the daily strain has taken its toll, and arthritis is making it harder for him to get around.

Sadly, no one has ever asked to meet him. His missing leg has left him overlooked time and time again, but Magnum doesn’t see himself as different—he just wants someone to finally give him a chance.

The great news? Magnum’s custom prosthetic is being made right now! Thanks to the dedication of his rescue, this life-changing addition will help him move more comfortably and enjoy the active life he craves. Now, the only thing missing is a place to call home—whether that’s a foster or an adopter willing to give him the fresh start he deserves.

Magnum is a sweet, loyal companion who loves his people and is completely potty trained. He’s happiest in a calm environment where he can be the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention for himself. Because of his past experiences, he’d do best in an adults-only home with someone who understands his need for patience and stability.
