Hi there! I am listed as special needs because I came to Charleston Animal Society with a discolored nose. We sent out a biopsy to find out what exactly is causing this discoloration. My biopsy indicates a condition known as Nasal Parakeratosis. This can cause rough, dry patches, keratin growths, and color changes on the nose and paw pads. No treatment is necessary unless secondary infections occur.
