Maggie Mae Labrador Retriever Mix Westfield, NY

Maggie May arrived at NCCR on 8/21/20, surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her properly. She is an 8 year old spayed female Labrador Retriever mix, thought to have some Husky in her mix as well. We’re told Maggie May gets along ok with bigger dogs, but does not do well with cats or other small critters. She reportedly does fine with children and she loves to play ball. Maggie May seems to be house trained, as she keeps her kennel clean. She will run off if she’s left off-leash, so a fenced yard is preferred, and training on recall (coming when called) is recommended. Maggie May had a hip injury as a young dog, but it doesn’t seem to hold her back!

Maggie Mae is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $210.00. (cash or check only, we are unable to accept credit cards)

We do adopt out of state, however we do not transport or ship dogs. Potential adopter must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in. Please note that Canadian adoptions are not possible at this time. The border crossing restrictions have been extended through September 21st.
