She is grateful for the caring volunteers at PAWS and can't wait until she has a furever home of her own. Maggie is an incredibly sweet 4 year old hound dog. She is a favorite of the volunteers because of her gentle nature. She loves playing with other dogs and puppies. Maggie loves lounging in her crate, and is great indoors. She really enjoys going for walks and does well on her leash. Maggie came to us underweight but has gained some much needed weight and she is looking more beautiful by the day.All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
