BEHOLD...MAGGIE!
Maggie is a 2 year old, “exotic bully”, which means a bred-to-extreme American Bully, weighing in at about 50lbs.

Let’s make one thing clear from the start: we aren’t using the term exotic as a means to advertise Maggie. There’s nothing exotic about this type of breeding—but it is out there and we want to raise awareness about it. This extreme short, wide body type is referred to as “exotic” in the ugly depths of the breeding world. If you need more examples of what constitutes an “exotic bully,” do a quick google search and prepare to grimace.

Regardless of her start in life, Maggie is safe with us now. She is spayed, medically up to date, microchipped, and ready to find a home where she is a valued family member and not a commodity.

So let’s learn about Maggie! She has A LOT of quirks!
She LOVES:
Snoring/Naps
Eating
Farting
Shadowing her person
Other dog friends!
Peanut butter!
Trotting and sniffing around the yard
She enjoys fetch!
Bonding strongly to one person
Ingesting things that are not for dogs...Maggie loves this, but we don’t! She needs to be monitored so she doesn’t eat all the wrong things

Maggie DOESN’T LOVE:
Crates/confined spaces
Personal boundaries (wants to be RIGHT by you!)
Stairs! Her short, stubby body means Maggie struggles with too many steps.
Sharing toys with other dogs (Maggie DOES like others dogs, just not sharing toys!)

Maggie is NOT housebroken. We realize this is a hard sell with any dog, but we have reason to believe Maggie had been kept in a crate for entire day(s) at a time, and that lifestyle doesn’t leave a lot of room for learning natural potty behaviors. Her foster mom has been working diligently with Maggie on house breaking, but she still has a long ways to go.

Maggie deserves a special, loving home. She is a good girl and if you’re willing to train and work with her...she is going to love you with her whole stubby heart!!!

To meet Maggie, please go to www.pettalesrescue.com and fill out an application. Her adoption fee is $250.
