Meet Maggie

Animal Profile: Maggie is an estimated 7-month-old, 23 lb terrier mix who was found as a stray in rural Louisiana and pulled from Caddo Parish shelter. She was kenneled with another dog at the shelter, and is reported to be sweet, smart, outgoing, and food motivated. She has been good in canine playgroups with males and females. We will share more info once we get to know her in foster care.

Foster Update: We have enjoyed having Maggie here; she is one of the easiest foster girls that we've had. The most important thing is that she's been great with all other dogs, which made it easy -- lots of socialization, physical stimulation, good night sleep every time, no accidents, good crate manners. She is a very active girl, and needs to go to a home where people will understand her needs and be able to provide continued training and exercise.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.
