Maggie Yorkshire Terrier Mix La Jolla, CA

Maggie is a happy, cheerful, and playful 12 yr old, 7.5lb Yorkie mix. She is a tail wagger and tries to please. She is a lap dog and can sit and relax for hours. Maggie also has great energy and loves to go on daily walks. We go twice a day in morning and afternoon where she prefers to poop outside. We've been working on potty training on pee pads indoors and she's doing great! If there's a backyard, she knows to go outside. She also loves to eat! She doesn’t have many teeth so needs to eat softer food. Shockingly, she loves taking bathes and sits very still and relaxed while she is getting shampoo’d.

She was an owner surrender and was part of a pack of 3. Sadly, her other 2 sibling dogs passed and she was left alone. Therefore, she would do great in a household with other doggies.

Maggie currently lives with her foster mom and 2 other dogs. She would do well in a house where people are home more often. She also likes to follow the lead of her human.
