Maggie Miniature Poodle Mix Tinley Park, IL

Hi! My name is Maggie, I’m a 5-year-old poodle mix? – I’m 30 pounds and very strong. I have been waiting 5 long months for someone to see me and ask me to be part of their family. I can be willful sometimes, so I need a strong consistent hand, and sometimes, a “time out”! I bond easily with women and can be selective with men. I can’t be around small children because I don’t like to share my food. I’m also not a lap dog, but I will sit next to you because I want to be in the same room with you.
I have a lot of positive qualities! I can climb stairs; I am good with other small dogs; I am housebroken, (if you don’t take me out in time, I use potty pads). I don’t like to be picked up until I trust you, but I can jump up 3 feet to the couch or your bed, from a sitting position. I have very sensitive hearing, so I bark even though you may not yet see the person. My job is to guard the house and especially my human.
I need a fenced in back yard so I can run and play, especially with another small dog. I love to sit at a back door or window to look out. And I love soft squeaky toys!’

Puppy (6 months and under) -- $300.
Adult (Dogs over 6 months of age) -- $275.
Senior (Dogs over 7 years old) -- $150.
