Who am I? I'm Maggie
Where did you meet TAPS? At a local shelter
How old are you? I am around 1.5 to 2ish
Tell us about yourself! I am awesome actually. I am confident, playful, love love love to play fetch. I would make a great hiking partner (but please watch out for my feet in this hot weather on hot surfaces). A great family dog I would likely be (except I am pretty exuberant so I may knock down small kiddos).
I weigh approximately: 70lbs
To adopt one of our animals, the first step is filling out an adoption application at www.tapsusa.org, Please make sure you get a confirmation that your application has been submitted. IF YOU ARE FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION ON A PHONE OR PAD, HOLD THEM SIDEWAYS TO SEE ALL OF THE FIELDS. IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION AT THE END, IT MEANS YOU HAVE MISSED A FIELD SOMEWHERE AND NEED TO REVIEW THE APPLICATION AGAIN.
Where can you meet me after you are contacted that you may be a good fit for me?

All animals are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before they go to new homes because that's the responsible way to keep them all safe.

We only adopt to local homes in the immediate vicinity because we utilize our volunteer force to process home visits. Photos of your home, letters of reference are not acceptable which is why we only adopt locally. Only in very rare circumstances do we adopt out of area. Examples of this would be finding the perfect home for a senior animal or one that has other special needs that we have not been able to place locally for an extended period of time.
