My name is Maggie. I’m as adorable as I am sweet and affectionate. I started out in a shelter but now I'm so much better in a home environment. I'm timid so I'll need that special family that is willing to give me a few days to feel comfortable in a new environment so my real personality can shine through. Loud noises freak me out but even then I'm not aggressive - there isn't an aggressive bone in my body: I'm all sweetheart! I'm dog, cat and older/calm kid friendly (scared of small/active kids). I'm house and crate trained, and I already know "sit" and "no" and have started leash training. Are you that calm family that can give me the time and love I so desperately need? Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies) which includes State of Texas sales tax. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.
