Meet Maggie
Meet Maggie!
Sugar Magnolia (Maggie) - This Olde English Bulldog beauty queen is 5 years old, and sweet as can be. She will become your shadow in the house, with a cute nub tail wiggling furiously behind her whenever she looks at you. At other times, she will simply lean into you, and it’s impossible to resist bending down to give her love. Her size is substantial, but she is very much a lap dog.
Maggie is very well-behaved, and will fit into most homes from Day 1. If you work from home, she will usually lay in a dog bed next to you, either quietly chewing a bone or loudly taking a nap. She doesn’t mind spending time in her kennel, and has always lived in a home so she is very well-mannered. Maggie was surrendered because she cannot be in a home with other animals, especially dogs. Her reaction is significant enough that her new home will need to proactively ensure that there are never dogs in her proximity (including on walks, at the vet, etc…), but these accommodations are not necessarily that onerous, especially for homebodies. However, she will need to be in a home with no children who are more prone to accidentally leaving a door open. If you’d like to meet Maggie, please fill out an application at NewOrleansBulldogs.com/adopt.
All of our dogs come fully-vaccinated, temperament-tested, and resources to set you and your dog up for success when adopting. Thank you for your support of our rescue!
