Maggie and her buddy Geanie came from Alabama. They had an owner who took the girls into his care from a homeless person. When that owner passed away his elderly father took the girls in and cared for them, unfortunately he had to go into an assisted living facility so the girls came to Lulu’s Locker to find their forever home together.
ABOUT:
Maggie and Geanie are both easy-going dogs with simple needs. Maggie is the younger of the two so she is a little bit more energetic. Maggie can be vocal on walks when she sees other dogs, but only because she is so excited to stop by and say hi. She stops barking after she is allowed to greet them. Maggie is a polite girl who is good with people in and out of her home and has never met a stranger. Maggie is housetrained and will ask to go outside when she needs to. She is not being crated but she has good house manners and is currently given free roam of a portion of the house when no one is home. Maggie enjoys a good car ride and likes to stand up and put her nose out the window to take in all the smells. Maggie will occasionally pick up a toy to play with...but we mean occasionally. You’re more likely to see her lounging in the sun soaking up the heat. We would like to have Geanie and Maggie adopted together as they have been together for Maggie’s whole life.
