Meet Maggie
You must submit our organization's application to be considered for Maggie. Inquiries submitted through PetFinder will NOT get a response. You can find OUR application at bit.ly/MNNewfApp
Maggie is a playful eight-year-old Airedale Terrier Mix (approximately 80lbs)! She was placed several years ago, but returned to us due to changes in her family's circumstances. She is completely house and crate trained (and is very quiet in a crate). She enjoys lazing around in the recliner and sleeping on the rug. She loves toys, especially those that squeak! She also enjoys games of fetch! Although she previously lived on a farm, she has extremely high prey drive and will attack poultry.
The Perfect Home for Maggie...
Priority placement for Maggie will go to a family having no children, or having children aged 6+. These children should be large dog savvy. Her adoptive family should be willing to use a crate for her during her transition period. She is comfortable in a crate and does not cause a fuss in one. Maggie has done fairly well with other dogs in her foster home and has enjoyed many games of chase, but she is somewhat dog selective, and would not do well in a home with puppies or small dogs. Maggie is not a good choice for a home with cats or birds as her prey drive is on the high side.
Adoption fees vary depending on the dog, but range from $300-$600.
