Maggie Great Dane Dillsburg, PA

Beautiful Maggie is a pure bread Great Dane! Practically a little pony, Maggie stands rather tall and weighs in at just over 100 lbs! Maggie walks well on a leash and knows sit and give paw. She came from a home with other dogs but after a brief stint with a foster family, it was determined she would do better moving forward to be the only pet in the house. Maggie does have some food aggression issues, it has only been directed at other dogs and not people. Due to this issue though, along with the fact that she is quite tall and will occasionally want to stand up and put her paws on your shoulders, we have decided she would be better in a house with no children -though she has not showed any particular issues with children. Though when she jumps up and "hugs" it is quite gentle - she simply places her paws on your shoulder, we have been working with her to correct this behavior. Though Great Danes are known to have separation anxiety, Maggie has never displayed any anxiety over being left alone and typically will just take the opportunity to have a nice quiet nap.
