- Other dogs.

Maepetch was brought to the SDF shelter with her family. They all had inflamed eyes and were battling to survive on the streets of Phuket Island. Maepetch means diamond mother in Thai. Her family are all named after gemstones. Diamond seemed like the right choice for her as she is strong, precious, and you can't help but be drawn to her!
Maepetch is adorably cross eyed. She takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she knows them she is very sweet, affectionate, bouncy and chatty. She walks well but is hesitant in new areas and stops to listen when other dogs pass by.
Maepetch could need extra time to get used to new places, people, and dogs. Adopters may need to teach her where things are and give her plenty of time to get used to new environments.
She does better in a group so having the support of another dog would be highly recommended. Maepetch is friendly but could take some time to adjust to her forever home as a result of her disability.
All Soi Dogs come with a Fi Collar, Crate, and a bow tie. For more video and a full bio you can look on the Soi Dog website (www.soidog.org).
Thank you for your interest in giving this dog a forever home! - Please keep in mind that many of the dogs that come into Wagmor Pets have often had very little positive human interaction, and might take a little extra love and patience to feel comfortable in your home.
Also, because our animals are rescued, we cannot guarantee their breed. In most cases, our dogs will be mixed breed. Therefore, we do recommend DNA testing with Embark! Use code WAGMOR to get $40 off an Embark Breed and Health Kit. - https://embarkvet.com/
To apply to adopt at Wagmor Pets, please submit an application at http://www.wagmorpets.org/Adoption - If after reviewing your application we feel you could potentially be a good fit, and the dog is still available, an adoption coordinator may reach out to you via e-mail or phone to schedule a 15-Minute Phone Interview to go over your application, any questions you may have about our adoption process, and help set up a meet and greet with your family.
