Maebelle Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Canandaigua, NY

Hello future family, my name is Maebelle!

I am wondering if you will be my new people!? Ya see I didn't have a family and was just wondering around all alone. These people picked me up and took me to this loud scary place, that's where the nice people from ACDRA found me!

Now I'm living in a home where I am learning all about being a good canine citizen! Foster mom says I am pretty smart, but I still gots some learning to do! I am learning all about crate training and going potty outside, I'm learning these things called manners too, all pretty boring, but foster mom says I gotta have these skills. If it were up to me, I would run, and play all day!

In my foster home I live with other dogs and cats. Cats are super fun to chase, mom says no cats in my new house. I am learning my dog skills, but mom says I have "odd social skills", so I would do best in a home with no other dogs or a dog friend who can tolerate my odd play style.

I am learning to walk on a leash, another skill I am getting pretty good at! I love to sniff all the sniffs and see all the things so sometimes I get really excited and pull my mom to get there faster!

Foster mom says I would thrive with a family that will give me lots of exercise. She keeps saying I will be a great hiking, running, biking, cross country skiing partner, I have no idea what any of those are but they sound amazing! I have never lived with little people before, kids I think you call them? Foster mom says I would do best in a home with bigger people, sometimes I get to excited for the little ones!

Well that's a lot about me, if you think you are my forever person, send in an application and my mom will make sure we are the best match possible! Oh and I think my mom has some things to add.

Maebelle is about 2 years old, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative. Mae is up to date on her vaccines and is current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
