Madison Alaskan Malamute Gettysburg, PA

Madison was born on April 29, 2023. She and her sisters came to us from a farm that no longer wanted them. She has lived most of her life outside so she will need help with potty training, learning to walk on a leash, crate training, and everything new that life has to offer. She is one of the smaller pups and is shy.

Madison is fearful of new things but warms up as she discovers how wonderful life can be. Some dogs scare her and she is concerned when people move too fast. She will need a family that understands to go slow and help her build confidence.

She is an active pup and will need a family that has time to commit to her. She will need ongoing rewards-based training and love from a devoted family. Madison may be able to live in a home with a calm male dog companion who can show her the ropes.

Your application tells us about your lifestyle and helps us find a potential match for you and your family. We are happy to work with you. For example, if you don't have a fence, we can help find alternatives and/or a dog that will do well without a fence.

A home visit is required prior to adoption/fostering. You can visit the malamute(s) once you've completed the process. Alternatively, you may volunteer and learn how rewards-based training brings out the best in malamutes.

ADOPTION FEES
~Senior dogs (8+ years old): $100.00
~Adult dogs (2 years up to 8): $300.00  
~Puppies (6 months - 2 years): $350.00
~Puppies under 6 months: $375

All Malamutes are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. Puppy fees are higher due to more vet visits and vaccines. The adoption fee helps us cover these costs.
