Maddie Black Labrador Retriever Mix Brunswick, ME

From Maddie's foster: Maddie is a five-year-old smaller female lab. She is very savvy with dog language and has gravitated towards her playful and dominant foster brother who is showing her the ropes. Maddie is super curious with cats but she’s smart and a quick learner. The only time she barks is an occasional single bark at the cats. She doesn’t currently, go up and down stairs but will go down them once started. She settles in the car very well and doesn’t seem to mind being bathed. Maddie has a cute little chatter and the most adorable, crooked bottom teeth. Shes dances with her front feet when excited but not only is she adorable, she is also, a very pretty girl. We are still learning what commands she knows. We do know she sits on command and is quickly, catching on to stay. Maddie’s ideal home would have a playful dog companion. Any loving and active home would work for her. She would do fine with a cat and eventually, cats will do fine with her. Stairs are an unknown, as of now. She’s a smart, sweet, gentle, and playful girl waiting to find her forever family.

This gorgeous girl is Maddie picked up as a stray she is thought to be a 5-yr old Lab mix. Maddie is a sweet girl who obviously had a home. She has been at the shelter 9 months and just completed heartworm treatment. Maddie is described as a typical Lab who is energetic, sweet and loves everyone. Maddie will be in Maine 1/11 ready for a forever home. She will be fostered in Bath.
