Meet Maddie. Maddie is 3 years old and is the sweetest, most gentle and loving girl. She is a wonderful companion but is initially timid when meeting new people. She grew up on a farm and is currently being fostered on an acreage, and there is nothing she enjoys more than sniffing and snooping in a wide open space. Maddie would probably do best on an acreage or a farm with no livestock as she had problems with farm animals in the past.
Maddie is wonderful with kids, cats, and the right dog as she grew up with all of them. She can be nervous when meeting new dogs so proper introductions will be important. Once she gets to know the other dog then there are no problems. Maddie has great recall as she grew up being off leash and has been a quick study in how to walk on leash; she doesn’t pull or try to run ahead. She is not a super high energy girl but her walks are important to her as they are her sole source of exercise considering Maddie really doesn’t care for fetch or any other high-energy games. Maddie is great in the home and has the run of the house when left alone with no problems. She has a positive connection with the cat she is currently living with and they even share each other’s water bowls! Maddie is the most wonderful girl and will be such an incredible blessing to any family that adopts her.

Adoption fee is $295. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, current on vaccines and has received a wellness exam.
