Maddie is a rescue dog. Her story is no different than most. We're the rescue who saved her from a high kill shelter at the last minute. She went to a foster family for approximately 8 months. There she was loved by an older couple and did great not pulling on the leash when being walked. Maddie is approximately 4 years old and pretty chill for the most part.. She is very smart, and a fast learner. She knows commands such as sit, stay, and come. She is house broken and crate trained. She rides good in car. She loves stretching out on the floor at the front door and tanning in the sun that comes through the window. Maddie needs a home where she can be the only pet. She isn't fond of other dogs.- She's dog reactive. So if you live in an active neighborhood where you'd want to walk her amongst other dogs, she's not the dog for you.

If there are children in the family, they should be older. Maddie enjoys long walks with her adopter. She is actually very content simply being with her people.
