Maddie's Story
Maddie is a 2.5 year old, 56 lb female Retriever/Shepherd mix breed.

Maddie is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to her new home.

Maddie was a young mom in distress when she was rescued, but this tough pup survived emergency surgery that saved her and her pups, and was a great mommy. All of her pups found their own homes, and Maddie is more than ready to go out on her own as well. Her foster mom says she is sweet and affectionate, and enjoys a little pampering. She likes some gentle belly rubs, having her blonde coat brushed and getting some ear rubs too. Maddie arrived practically house trained and absolutely loves going out on walks. She would probably be thrilled to go on a hike, especially in a cooler climate. She doesn't live with kids but has met up with older children on her frequent outings and done very well with them. Maddie reluctantly shares her foster home with the resident dogs, but she does not want to share her forever home with other dogs and would need to be the only dog at home. At home, Maddie is very much a couch potato and would love to just nap a good part of the day away, so she would be fine with an adopter who is away during the day. Maddie dreams of a loving home of her very own, so let us know if this sweet girl is the solo companion you've searched for.

Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada.

Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $150 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, and microchip.

If interested in learning more, please email us at faithandhopeadoptions@gmail.com or fill out our online application.

https://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp

If you are interested in learning more about our adoptable pets, the adoption process, or our home based foster program, please contact us at the above email.

Due to the number of requests that we receive on our adoptable pets, please be advised that all adoption applications are processed in the order received.
