Madara German Shepherd Dog & Alaskan Malamute Mix Madras, OR

Madara came to us as a owner surrender because they were moving and could not have him in the new place. He is shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He is 3 years old and currently 80 pounds. We were told he did not good with livestock or cats. He is housebroken, he did very well for his resource guarding testing, and is confident and outgoing. Please research the Malinois, German Shepherd, and Husky breeds, because they are not for every dog owner, especially for a first time pet. He is large and does occasionally jump up. He will require a good fence and an experienced owner. He does well with other dogs and is a submissive boy who sends all the right communication to them.

He knows sits, stay, come, and heel. He loves playing tug, chase, frisbee, ball, fetch and likes to wrestle but because he is such a big boy, we kind of don't encourage that kind of play if kids are involved! Squeaky toys are his favorite! Come on down and meet the big guy and see what you think!
