Meet Madame, affectionately known as "Maddie Mae" to her foster family

"Maddie is the sweetest, most loving foster dog you'll ever meet! An extremely calm, patient, loving, low maintenance girl, who thrives in ANY environment. She is very loyal, well trained, and loves to be where ever her humans or furry foster siblings are. Maddie loves nothing more than cuddling on the couch, belly rubs, and napping. Short and stout, with a heart as big as her adorable, small legged frame. Her favorite past time is sunbathing on the grass or pool deck. Maddie loves rolling on her back in the grass outside, but also just loves rolling on her back, period. If you're looking for a couch potato companion who will shower you with love, Maddie Mae is your girl!"

Maddie is kitten/cat, barn animal (goats/pigs), fowl (chicken/rooster), puppy/dog, kid (any age), and special needs person (any age) FRIENDLY!!

Maddie is traumatized by kennels, so she should not be created. She has full run of the house, and always has since she got here in October.

Maddie is fully house trained, couch potato, sun bather, trained/safe around inground pools and bon fires.

Maddie loves meeting new people, especially children. Does extremely well in public spaces, such as the Richmond Hill Farmers Market, restaurants, trick or treating, etc.

Maddie is loyal, will not run off if out at the barn with me. She's curious of deer, will trot behind them, and immediately come back if called (she has an AirTag to ensure safety).

We have worked really hard since she was rescued from Chatham mere hours before being euthanized, and I'm so very proud of her!

She would be perfect for a fast paced family, slow paced family, older couple, family with special needs kiddos, loves car rides, walks, and nature. Maddie is the most LOW MAINTENANCE pup I have ever had the pleasure of having!
