Coming in with the silkiest coat you've ever felt and the sweetest personality you've ever met is...Mackie!

Mackie is a boy who is about 6 months old and right now, is 41lbs. He's been in a foster home and has impressed his foster family with his eagerness to learn and please his people. He is sweet, affectionate, and loves to make new friends. He is very smart and has quickly learned many commands. He usually only has to be told once or twice "no" when he does something he should not do. He is sensitive to correction and immediately goes into "sad puppy" to say he's sorry. He has gotten along very well with the foster family's 14 yr old female lab and she does not always tolerate puppy playfulness. He reads her body cues very well and knows when to leave her alone. He entertains himself by playing with balls, or rope toys. Mackie has gone on several walks where he's met other dogs and has shown he's very social and knows how to appropriately meet new dogs. He's extremely cuddly and loves being close to his people, with a preference to sleep next to them although his foster has taught him to sleep on his dog bed at night. Mackie does have a strong drive and curiosity about the wild life he's sees at his foster home, such as lizards, squirrels, turkeys, birds, so while he has not met a cat, his drive to chase things, makes the foster think that he would need some guidance to acclimate to a feline friend.

I am fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. I am $225 to bring home!
