Hi there, I'm Mack. These days, I spend most of my time snoozing, dreaming of warm laps and soft petting. Don't let my age fool you though, I'm quite the social butterfly and get along wonderfully with other dogs and children, making me a perfect addition to any family. I am a perfect gentleman, a quiet and lazy hippo, who also loves to sleep a lot. I've even mastered the art of potty training, so you won't have to worry about any unexpected surprises, and I walk well on a leash. I may be in my golden years, but I still have a lot of love to give. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will cherish every moment spent with you.

If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there.

Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day!

**All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
