Mack Pit Bull Terrier Mix Terryville, CT

Meet MACK (aka "Big Mac"!) Mack is a handsome, friendly, sweet, goofy boy who ARF rescued from our local pound, and he is patiently waiting for his FOREVER FAMILY! Mack is an incredibly handsome young man, but he is no Quarter pounder, weighing in between 60-65 lbs! He has a medium-to-high energy level but settles down nicely making him a great fit for an active family! He loves to run around our big backyard tossing around his rope toys and stuffies, but when his outdoor time is over, he will stop what he is doing when he is called and has no issues going back inside his kennel. Mack listens well and is doing a great job learning his basic commands. Mack goes on walks at least daily with our volunteers and he is doing great learning how to walk on a leash like a gentleman, and while hes a strong boy, hes manageable, and with tall of the practice he's getting, we know taking him on a walk will be a breeze! Mack would make a great family pet! His ideal home would be with an active family, with older children (due to his size and energy level) who have the ability and time to continue his training, give him ample outdoor time and most of all. GIVE HIM LOTS OF LOVE! We know with these 3 things he will be the best boy ever! Mack has been non-reactive to other dogs he sees while on walks so having a canine brother or sister is definitely a possibility for him, pending a successful meet and greet at our rescue to ensure hes a perfect match for ALL members of your family! And did we say how handsome he is? Well, hes even more handsome in person!
