****Adoption of a puppy****
The dog you are interested in is a puppy (under a year old). We have criteria for our adoptions of puppies.
--Puppies are adopted on a foster to adopt basis until the puppy is old enough to be neutered/spayed (we prefer them to be no younger than 9 months old) and all shots are complete.
--Houses with pools must demonstrate that puppies can be protected from the pool with fencing or a cover.
--Home visits for shots will be required, so puppies are adopted to homes in Maricopa County only.
--Puppies often have multiple potential adopters, so SPR evaluates what home is best matched with any given puppy and their expected home needs once they have grown .

We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks.
