Meet Macho!
My foster family took me to a vet and the nice doctor told me I am a very good boy — a mix of min-pin and chihuahua! I am not even 2 years old yet, and weigh a whooping 8.5 pounds.
I like everyone in my foster family — humans big or small, or dogs. It just took me little time to make sure they were going to be nice to me. I am not sure about little humans as loud noises scare me. I think cats are cool too. My favorite thing is climbing up to my humans laps or snuggling next to them to keep them warm. I don’t like them leaving me alone too much or telling me to go into my crate. The bed or couch is more comfortable. They like to throw squeaky toys around, and I always pick up after them and bring those back to my dog bed to keep the house clean (I could be a hoarder!). I go potty outside the house except in the super cold weather. I even trained my human to take me out walking with a leash. My foster mama said I need to find a next family to complete my mission. Who needs my love?

I am a little boy but I got lost. A nice lady took me home and tried to help me find my owner but nobody came looking for me. She surrendered me to New2U Rescue and told me they would help me in finding a good home.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
