Mabel English Bulldog Rochester, NY

Mabel is looking for her forever home. She is a 7 year old purebred English Bulldog who is a former puppy mill dog. She has come a long way in overcoming her life of trauma, but she still exhibits mill behavior. She is very comfortable in the company of other dogs. She is learning to trust people, but will need a patient, experienced family to continue to work with her. She is good with children over the age of 8 who are able to respect her boundaries. Mabel does not like to be touched from behind- she is happy with front greetings. Mabel is getting the hang of housetraining. She is all bulldog, and she can be stubborn- an experienced bulldog owner is a must. English bulldogs require lots of grooming to keep their skin healthy. Mabel is very sweet- she will reward her family with her unique personality, a family that is willing and able to help her continue to adjust to living the good life of a dog.
