Meet Lupin - ADOPTED!!
Lupin is now safely settled into his foster home, living with the other larger dogs and two foster parents. He's crate trained, housetrained, has excellent leash skills, and LOVES going for walks. He's great in the car and on road trips and is proving to be a very gracious guest in their home. His foster mom, Cindy, reports:
"He is a wonderful dog. So easy! He puts himself to bed at night in the crate and goes in there off and on during the day. He is quiet all night in the crate until you get up in the morning. He will howl a little when he gets excited for treats and follow the other dogs' lead. We have 3 dogs and it was a very easy integration. He would love a small to medium sized playmate. My husky is a little big for him to play with, but he will romp in the yard with him.
Overall Lupin is a laid back pup. We take him on daily walks and he enjoys time in the backyard sunning himself and stalking birds and squirrels. He comes when he is called and is very snuggly, but not annoyingly so. He barks when visitors come to our home, but calms down easily. No problems. A perfect fit for my family actually. He follows me around, so sweet. When I leave, he barks a little bit, but my husband tells him to be quiet and he stops. He just wants to be with his people and is an all around great dog."
This sweet boy deserved a family who stayed committed to him, and we know we can do better for Lupin. Apply today!
