Hi there! I’m Luna! I’m a 5-month-old, 40-lb Catahoula mix with a heart as warm as the sunshine and a love for all things water! If there’s a puddle, pool, or hose around — you can bet I’ll be the first one splashing in it. I’m an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl who loves being around people and other dogs. I’m the kind of pup who melts into your lap for cuddles after playtime and gives the softest little kisses to remind you how much I adore you. I get along great with other dogs and have even been friendly with cats and chickens — though I might try to turn everyone into my next swimming buddy! Since I’ve spent most of my life outdoors, I’m still getting the hang of potty and crate training, but I’m eager to learn and catch on quickly with a little guidance and love. Ruff Road Revival's Adoption Policy

The first step to the adoption process is filling out our adoption application online. We then do a vet check and check character reference, followed up by reaching out to the potential adopter to answer any questions they may have. If they are still interested at that point, we have the foster reach out to them so that they can get a better feel for if it is the right fit both for the adopter and for the animal. This also gives the potential adopter a chance to either set up a meet and greet with the animal if they are local or video chat with the animal to see their personality if they are out of state. If they are local, the next step would be a meet and greet and if that goes well, they would sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee and take the animal home. If they are out of state and decide to move forward with adoption, they will then sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. We will schedule the transport and send all information to the potential adopter. The animal will receive a health certificate prior to transport and the adopter will be added to a group chat during the transport process.
