Blanket-Digging Diva with an Underbite You’ll Adore
This 60-pound, 2-3-year-old mixed-breed pup has a story as unforgettable as her underbite (seriously, it’s her best feature). Once abandoned in a park in East Texas and so weak she couldn’t walk, Luna has made a spectacular comeback. She’s now a thriving, playful goofball who’s ready to find her forever home.
Luna is the queen of blanket-digging—a pastime she takes very seriously. Outside dirt? Nope. Inside blankets? Game on! Watching her fluff her bedding with the precision of an interior designer is oddly satisfying and endlessly entertaining.
She’s still figuring out this whole “play” thing, but she’s learning fast. She’ll chase a toy, pause mid-zoomie to flash you her iconic underbite, and then dive back into the fun. We think she might have a bit of boxer in her DNA—how else can you explain that perfect pout?
Luna’s got brains to match her charm. She’s learning to sit (especially if treats are involved), walks beautifully on a leash, and is house and crate trained. She gets along great with other dogs, adores the three boys in her foster home, and has a personality big enough to make you smile every single day.
The one thing she’s still figuring out? Cats. She’s not convinced they’re her jam, so a feline-free home is recommended.

Luna is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!
Luna tested positive for heartworms and is currently undergoing treatment with our rescue. At this stage in her treatment, the condition is not contagious or transferable to other animals. She is ready to move into her adoptive home, and the rescue will cover the full cost of her continued treatment.
