Luna was an owner surrender to our local animal shelter. The owner’s granddaughter had claimed her as her dog but she left her behind when she went to college. The owner said she was unable to take care of her but she was sad to leave Luna.<br/><br/>Luna is definitely a people dog. She is spayed, fully vetted and up to date on vaccines. Luna is leash and crate-trained. She can be other dog selective but has been fine with some dogs. <br/><br/>She is attentive and listens well. She is 3-4 years old and close to 60 pounds. <br/><br/>Luna has completed a 12-week training program and knows several commands. She will make someone a great companion.

PAWS of SWVA requires an application to be completed and reviewed before adoption. This process can take around 2-5 days before a final decision is made. We do charge an adoption fee, $125 for dogs, and $60 for cats. To request an application feel free to send us an email!
