Here is more about Luna Ann!
4-year-old, 5-pound Chihuahua mix
House-Trained: Luna is paralyzed and unable to control her bowel or bladder. She needs to be manually expressed about every four hours. Except at night, she can go throughout without issue. She wears diapers just in case.
Crate-Trained: She has not been using the crate as she will just lay on the couch when she is left, but she has been in the crate before and behaves well.
Other Dogs: Yes – she loves other dogs and would greatly enjoy a friend to play with.
Cats: Yes.
Kids: No, adults only.
Health: Luna is paralyzed from the middle of her back down. She can pull herself around with just her front paws or will go in her wheelchair. She will also need a dental cleaning down the road.
Luna Ann wants to be with you all the time! She loves to snuggle, play with her toys, and watch her people live their lives. She is an amazing sweetheart who cannot wait to find her forever home filled with love, patience and lots of snuggle time!
Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.
Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
