Meet Luna

Luna and her partner Linus were said to be wondering a neighborhood for quite some time. When animal control took them in Luna had puppies which were quickly taken away by the shelter to go to adopters. She was left to alone and became depressed and completely shut down. Luna would only cower and face the concrete wall. She was scheduled to be killed.
After being injured with the catch pole Luna is afraid of leashes so while we have her in a wonderful boarding resort we are working on letting her know all people aren’t bad and leashes won’t hurt her.

She will need a special foster or adopter who will allow her to slowly blossom and not rush her. She has made great strides since we saved her and even though the progress is slow it’s happening. We don’t believe they ever felt a kind human touch or heard a soothing voice until recently.
