Luna Hound & American Bully Mix Leonardtown, MD

Located in Southern Maryland:

Luna was an owner surrender to a local shelter where she patiently waited for 3 weeks for her new family, or foster, to save her life.

Luna is a sweet, sweet girl and is settling in nicely with her foster family which includes two resident dogs.

Luna is approximately 7 months old and is in her puppy stage, gentle and sweet, and loves to play with her dog toys and the resident dogs, and chew on bones. Luna also really enjoys companionship whether it’s from her two or four-legged foster family!

Luna enjoys spending time outside during her daily walks and hanging out on the deck watching wildlife, and following her fosters around the yard while they garden and do house projects. Luna is curious and cute. Her fosters think she is experiencing a lot of “firsts” with them ?. Luna does extremely well on a leash without pulling.

Luna has not exhibited any signs of aggression (food, toy, or with any dogs or people). She is crate trained and is working on her potty training and house manners (not putting paws on the counter, but she did conquer stairs after a week!). She will be going to the beach this weekend and her fosters are eager to see what she thinks (she did fine when she got a bath and likes water from the garden hose!).

Luna has been with her foster fam two weeks on Saturday and is coming out of her shell day by day. She is a puppy and is still learning and will benefit from continued patience from her furever family ???

She is up to date on vaccines and rabies, has been 4 dx tested and microchipped, and will be spayed soon.
