Meet Luna
Luna is a terrier (possibly Hound) mix who weighs around 23 lbs. She and her six siblings were born in the shelter on July 11, 2022 and pulled into rescue at just 5 days old with their mom. Like her siblings, Luna is outgoing and ready to conquer the world with whoever will go with her. She loves everyone she meets. Luna enjoys going on walks and has done really well on a leash since the very beginning. She likes to lay as close to you as possible when it’s her down time, and she’s more than happy to soak up as much attention and pets you want to give her, but she doesn’t like to be constrained for too long and will start wiggling around. She has done really well meeting lots of other dogs, and like most puppies, just wants to play a lot – any other animal or toy will do for her. She is all puppy, incredibly adorable and ready for a loving home of her very own.
PUPPIES AND YOUNG DOGS GROW into the expectations of their families through love, care and consistent training. This, more than anything, defines their evolving behaviors. Puppies cannot be left unattended for more than 3 to 4 hours a day. Young pups can only go to homes with small children where the family is "puppy savvy" and has boundaries for both the puppy and the child.
PLEASE REMEMBER: The specific breed of any dog abandoned to a shelter or rescue is only the best informed determination of rescue in agreement with our veterinarians
