Meet Luna
Luna was unfortunately hit by a car, then was surrendered to a local Husky rescue. The Husky rescue brought her to us, so we could assess her injuries and bring her into WPFC. Luna was found to have a severely broken front leg- the only thing we could do was amputate that leg.
Since her surgery, Luna has been sweet, energetic, and loves snuggles! She still has all the energy needs and vocals of a Husky, so her ideal family would need to be able to exercise her to her abilities and give her plenty of mental stimulation. She would thrive with a regular routine, and does enjoy being around people. Luna is a couch potato when other people are around, but can be stressed when left alone in her kennel.
She is very sweet and affectionate, knows basic commands, and comes when called.
