Luna, 9 month old, female, Chihuahua/Dachshund mix
Luna traveled from El Paso, TX on Monday, 5/25 via Dog Is My Copilot. She was part of a hoarding case along with Jackson and Charlie and were surrendered to the shelter there. Their world has been flipped upside down and are very shy and unsure of the world. Luna needs someone that is patient and will show her that the world is not a bad place. They have done well with all the dogs they have been introdcued to. Kids would most likely be overwhelming for all of them at this point in time and we will know more about cats soon!

To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will slowly go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster.

Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy.

Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
