Prefers a home without: Other dogs, cats. We received 3 scared, nervous girls due to an animal hording issue in Perry county. 50+ dogs were taken out of the home. They were mainly kept in cages. We have been working with them and socializing them with other dogs and people. .

Did You Adopt Scarlet?

Meet Scarlet

Miss Scarlet is around a year old and weighs 26 lbs. Scarlet was rescued with 50+ other dogs from a hording situation. She was recently adopted but returned. She did well with the kiddos in the home and the large male dog. However, she did not do well with some of the other dogs in the neighborhood. Prior to her time with this family, Scarlet spent most of her life in a cage with limited interaction with people. She came to us as a shy and nervous pup, but warmed up quickly. She is amazingly sweet and loving. Scarlet walks well on a leash. She loved playing with her 2 sisters that came to the rescue with her. Scarlet may do well in a home with another dog with the proper introduction however, she isn't a fan of felines.
