What a little survivor Lulu is!! We are coming up on one year since we crossed paths with Lulu. We spotted her under a car, just days away from giving birth. A volunteer knocked on a door, just a few yards from the parked car. "Where will she have the puppies" we asked?? "Under the car" the owner responded. After a few minutes, we convinced the owner to allow Lulu to have the puppies in our care. We agreed we would keep in touch with pictures and updates and when the pups were weaned, Lulu would be sterilized and returned home. Just days later, Lulu gave birth to five beautiful puppies. Over the next several weeks, we kept in touch with the family, sending them updates on Lulu and her babies. As time went by, Lulus' pups were all adopted and she was spayed.....and we never heard back from the family. Our calls, texts and notes left on their door went unanswered. Today Lulu is ready to find her forever home. She is approximately four years old, likes to show off her pretty smile and prefers to be on someone's lap! Lulu's foster mom tells us she would do best as an only dog as she is forever seeking human affectation. We would like to see Lulu go to a low activity home where she can enjoy her daily walk and be spoiled the rest of the day. If you are interested in adopting Lulu ($200 donation), and application is a must: https://www.povertyspets.org/adoption-form. Once received, you will be contacted within 48-72 hours. Thank you.
